Demographics
In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada , Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel had a population of 6,121 living in 2,558 of its 2,678 total private dwellings, a change of 6.4% from its 2016 population of 5,751 . With a land area of 128.29 km 2 (49.53 sq mi) , it had a population density of 47.7/km 2 (123.6/sq mi) in 2021. [5]
