Michael Norman George James OC FRS FRSC (born 1940) [1] is Emeritus Distinguished Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Alberta . [7] [8] He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS) in 1989 for "substantial contributions to the improvement of natural knowledge". [9] He was appointed to the Order of Canada in June 2023, with the rank of Officer. He lives in Edmonton . [10]
